Goals and Motivations For Students

Being a student can be a nightmare sometimes. All of that stress we go through, the anxiety we get from our Schools and Universities. All of the countless hours and sleepless days we experience due to submitting assignments or having to work to sustain our youthful lifestyle. How the teachers or professors might think that we overreact to everything. How the seniors think we are spoiled and shameless. We face pressure every single day if it is not every single hour.

As a student by myself, I would like to share with you how should we keep ourselves going, without losing our sanity. No, it isn’t by partying or any other related activities. Yes, these are essentials, yet shouldn’t be the priority. All we need is motivation and discipline, and this article will shed a light on these two nouns.

1. Us as students we are kind of confused; we want to do that and this. Well, Walt Disney has something for you.  The Best Way To Get Started Is To Quit Talking And Begin Doing.

2. Bad grades? Stay optimist! Because Winston Churchill said, The Pessimist Sees Difficulty In Every Opportunity. The Optimist Sees Opportunity In Every Difficulty.”
3. Bad days? Painful breakup? Got bullied in high school? You always have to let go of the past to focus on today, as Rogers will always say, “Don’t Let Yesterday Take Up Too Much of Today.”
4. You’re a failure! No, you’re not, you will always win. Because “You Learn More from Failure Than from Success. Don’t Let It Stop You. Failure Builds Character”. Said Mr. Anonymous.
6. The world sucks! Then change it. As Rob Siltanen said, “People Who Are Crazy Enough To Think They Can Change the World, Are the Ones Who Do.”
7. No matter how many times life will knock you down, always remember what Og Mandino said. “Failure Will Never Overtake Me If My Determination to Succeed Is Strong Enough.”
8. Risk-taker. Egotistic. Entrepreneur. Keep Mr. Mohnish Pabrai in your mentorship list when he says, “Entrepreneurs Are Great at Dealing with Uncertainty and Also Very Good At Minimizing Risk. That’s The Classic Entrepreneur.”
9. Survivor? Warrior? Like Maya Angelou? “We May Encounter Many Defeats But We Must Not Be Defeated”. That’s what she said!
10.      Practical. Visionary. You should look up Johann Wolfgang von Goethe saying, “Knowing Is Not Enough; We Must Apply. Wishing Is Not Enough; We Must Do.”
11.      Perfectionists listen up. “Imagine Your Life Is Perfect In Every Respect; What Would It Look Like?”Brian Tracy
12.      Finally, out of your comfort zone? Dr. Hennery Link would be proud of you. Because “We Generate Fears While We Sit. We Overcome Them By Action”.

13.      Car person, and an entrepreneur. Slightly narcissistic? Like Hennery Ford. It is alright because, Whether You Think You Can or Think You Can’t, You’re Right.
14.      Adventurous, and Fight or Flight. The best or nothing. Hellen Keller said, “Security Is Mostly A Superstition. Life Is Either A Daring Adventure Or Nothing.”
15.      A Leader? Like Hasidic Proverb? Well, he has something to say to you, “The Man Who Has Confidence In Himself Gains The Confidence Of Others.”
16.      Alienated. Feel like all people are the same? Don’t feel so, you are truly special. You are creative. Like Albert Einstein in Physics and Mathematics. Always remember that “Creativity Is Intelligence Having Fun.”
17.      Feeling Talentless? You will never be. According to Don Zimmer, he said, “What You Lack In Talent Can Be Made Up With Desire, Hustle And Giving 110% All The Time.
18.      Looking up to Elon Musk? You know he works +80 hours/week? He sleeps in Tesla’s factory more than in his house. Because of course, he read something related to Theodore Roosevelt saying, “Do What You Can with All You Have, Wherever You Are.”
19.      Social Butterfly, yet a CEO material. Remember what Brian Tracy said, “Develop An ‘Attitude of Gratitude. Say Thank You To Everyone You Meet For Everything They Do For You”.
20.      Accomplished Enough? Well, the world isn’t enough. Keep C.S Lewis in your mind when he said, “You Are Never Too Old to Set Another Goal or To Dream A New Dream”.
21.      Ethical. Like Confucius. In one of his philosophic quotes, he said, “To See What Is Right, and Not Do It Is A Lack of Courage.”
22.      A Bookworm? Keep Brain’s Tracy infamous quote. Reading Is To The Mind, As Exercise Is To The Body.
23.      Ambitious. Ever heard the quote “fake it till you make it?”. Again, it is Brain’s Tracy. The full saying is “Fake It Until You Make It! Act As If You Had All The Confidence You Require Until It Becomes Your Reality.”
24.      Do you keep on mentioning excuses? Jack Canfield won’t be impressed. You should process this quote. For Every Reason It’s Not Possible, There Are Hundreds Of People Who Have Faced The Same Circumstances And Succeeded.”
25.      If you are feeling down, always remember John Wooden when he said, “Things Work Out Best for Those Who Make the Best of How Things Work Out.”
26.      I am Feeling the Urge to read, but I am procrastinating. Marcus Tullius Cicero once said, “A Room Without Books Is Like A Body Without A Soul.
27.      If you are feeling helpless in something. Look for another thing. That is what John wooden meant when he said, Don’t let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.” – John Wooden
28.      Desire. Drive. Is any of these words move you? John Maxwell has something to te
